Cheese-wheel turners

Hygienically rotated

This machine is a further application in the food sector; it turns the cheese wheel automatically. It goes to and from the cheese-ripening room, each time grasping and turning a tier of cheese wheels. It handles up to 350 cheese wheels per hour. The rapid and hygienic cleaning of the machine was an important factor. The components used (more than 120 igus® products) had to be resistant to detergent.
