Horizontal forming, filling and sealing machines

One of the largest South African manufacturers of forming, filling and sealing machines relies on maintenance-free plain bearing solutions from igus®. For example, DryLin® EasyTube when adjusting the format of bag sizes by using a parallel DryLin® Easytube linear tube system.

In this horizontal forming, filling and sealing machine, various lubricant-free igus® plain bearings solutions are also used. What was important here for the customer were the absolute freedom from maintenance over the entire life cycle of the machines, plus the fact that there is no product contamination from lubricants. Hygienic design through interior spindles, but also the complete solution from a single source, convinced the highly satisfied customer even before serial introduction. Altogether, 19 different polymer plain bearings from igus® are used.
