energy chains® for microassembly
Extreme demands on availability and durability
The already low abrasion of the igus® E-Chain® is yet again significantly reduced by the application of a special material. An E-Chain® can also be used hereby in many applications that presented intricate special solutions so far. An extensive test program has been completed for both gliding and unsupported applications. For many applications, the E-Chain® made of special material can be operated practically free of abrasion. The IPA tests confirm that the standard E-Chain® from igus® is sufficient for clean room requirements. "proven and tested excellent!" The moving parts in clean rooms require a very high wear resistance. Thus for instance, an E-Chain® must be extremely wear resistant in order to fulfill the standard requirements of this sensitive environment.
Extreme demands on availability and durability
The number of freely hanging cables should be bundled together. The specific movements executed by the robot stress the energy cables to a high degree.
No wear in the igus® energy supply system even in endurance tests. In a travel of 290 mm, a number of 50-60 cycles per hour is attained mostly in the three-shift operation.
Robotic handling system for circuit boards. Flexible energy supply system in use in clean room technology.
Rondol Technology uses igus® polymer linear bearings to guide platens on an all its injection moulding machinery...
For the handling of printed circuit boards, a six-axis robot is used in the case of this application instead of the usual linear systems.
One igus® E-Chain® of the E6 family accelerates the work sequences in the case of this application for wafer handling in the chip production industry.
DryLin® W for positioning of films in a blister machine.
Clean room - hundreds of E-Chains® and cables with class 1 to 4 ex stock.
