Stage design
Advanced stage technology, for instance for musicals, frequently require a host of cables that are guided on stages with vertical travel, during which cables must be protected. A particular difficulty in these cases is that they almost always involve confined space situations. chainflex® cables provide tested reliability even for twisting motions. igus® energy supply system solutions for instance facilitate Zig-Zag applications that store the "folded" e-chain® in a customised basket located in a stage underneath. When the stage travels upward, the energy chain deploys with the enclosed cables and follows with very low noise.
The twisterband system can be used to travel vertically with cables using minimal little installation space.
