Dragon robot
A robot as an actor: "Tradinno" is one of the main actors in Germany's oldest folk play, the "Further Drachenstich". The jury awarded the special vector® for special creativeness to this application. Despite the limited design space and difficult environmental conditions (hydraulic oil, temperature), energy transmission has to be guaranteed for on-stage use. The large space required for the three-dimensional movement of the individual joints presented a special challenge. The EnergyChains® are sturdy and easy to install, and only take up a minimum bending radius. Several multidimensional igus® E-Chains® of the Triflex® R series in the tail, neck and legs of the dragon robot guarantee an impressive stage experience!
