The already low abrasion of the e-chain® is yet again significantly reduced by employing a special material. In many applications where cumbersome special solutions are used, a simple standard E-Chain® can be used instead. For many applications, the E-Chain® made of special material can be operated practically free of abrasion. IPA testing has confirmed that standard e-chains® by igus® meet cleanroom requirements, and have been rated as ”tested and rated as very good“.
The testing by Fraunhofer Institute IPA
generated the following results for igus®
Series E2/000, E6.1 and E4.1
1500.050.038.0.CR attains Class 3 per DIN EN ISO 14644-1
E4.32.10.063.0.CR attains Class 2 per DIN EN ISO 14644-1
E61.29.50.075.0 attains Class 3 per DIN EN ISO 14644-1
