It goes without saying that this produces lots of dust which settles in the guides. Conventional glide elements quickly become blocked and have to be serviced and lubricated frequently. DryLin® linear guides on the plotter‘s x- and y-axes ensure permanent functionality in this dusty environment. The vertical axis is equipped with a DryLin® spindle linear table. Also in use: igus® plastic energy chains for clean cable routing.
