Fish protection filterThis filter construction has been designed to prevent fish being sucked out of the river when water is diverted into a sewage system. For this purpose, the filters are pushed in front of the sluices during flooding. For inspection purposes and to protect the filters from ice, they have to be able to be pulled onto the dam. igus® e-chains® stand up to the muddy environment and low temperatures and have proved to be the only feasible solution for this movement.
