This device can measure the circumference of car tyres without the vehicle having to be moved. Thus one can flexibly measure at any point, without the requirement of a test stand. The device also takes deformation of the tyre due to vehicle weight into account during measurement. Various different igus® DryLin® products are used: miniature linear guides DryLin® N, flange shaft blocks, aluminium shafts and flange housings.
