Light and maintenance-free
This application from the fi eld of medicine is an analysis device that helps to diagnose different types of cancer at an early stage. Several igus® products are fitted: DryLin® shafts made of aluminium or carbon fibres as well as various DryLin® flange bearings. Their benefits: they are light and maintenance-free, and the cables used in the device can simply be routed through the bearing openings.
