Variable Flange Plates
Less space required
These variable flange plates are used to fix a vehicle wheel to a wheel balancing machine. igus® thrust washers and fl ange bearings were used for the new design. igus® thrust washers and flange bearings were used for the new design. Their use means there is no longer any need to mill the base plate, and allows the design height to be reduced by eight millimetres. The cap nuts required for setting the clearance are no longer needed either, they have been replaced by clearance-free pre-tensioned iglidur® JVFM bearings.
