Fridge assembly
Initially, steel chains were used for foam feeding in this fridge assembly line. These were unreliable with travel of 8 metres, however. Now, E-Chains® from igus® guide the hoses. The smooth surfaces of the E-Chains® lead to a more efficient feeding process, since the upper run can now slide on the lower run of the chain and does not have to be supported.
