The BETAGREEN team appeared as a newcomer in 2009 and really cleaned up straight away. BETAGREEN is made up of the pupils:

The 5 pupils won the Nordmettall Cup (North German Championships) on
05.04.2009 and the German Championships on
28.04.2009 in Hanover.
Thanks to its success, BETAGREEN was allowed to appear for Germany at the World Championships in London in September 2009. Which it did with great success - BETAGREEN took 5th place!
The best 31 teams in the world competed at the World Championships. The team also achieved the best German result at a World Championships in "F1 in schools". BETAGREEN was also presented with the "INNOVATIVE THINKING AWARD" for its sprung single wheel suspension.
The car achieved a German record at the world championships and therefore made it to the podium. With a time of 1.076 sec (over 20m), the team managed the third fastest time of the entire world championships.
