Reliable and cheaper
This satellite receiver is intended for use in mobile homes or trucks, for example. It is important here that the appliance can be folded up in order to generate as little resistance as possible whilst on the move. Because, depending on the location of the vehicle, it must be able to move all the way round and should work reliably under all weather conditions, a plastic bearing made of the material iglidur® J from igus® is used. This bearing also achieved a cost saving compared to stainless steel.
