Linear plain bearings for steering systems on bus trailers
Rust-free and temperature-resistant
These people-carrying trailers for buses allow flexible reactions to passenger fluctuations. Due to reasons of approval, only purely mechanical steering systems may be used here. The whole steering system is deliberately exposed so that any defect can be seen immediately. All bearings must have the appropriate material qualities and be rust-proof, as being located under the trailers, they are immediately exposed to environmental conditions such as dirt from the road. The resistance to temperature in summer and winter is also important. DryLin® R linear plain bearings fulfill these requirements and are therefore used in this steering system.
