The motion of the driving rod of an organ should be utmost noiseless and smooth-running. With it the organist is relieved on one hand, and on the other, undesired interfering sounds are avoided. At the same time a braking potential should be there. This was achieved by means of an adjusting screw.
The adjusting screw uses the elasticity of the applied iglidur® plastic bearing and marginally modifies the inner diameter. Thus a continuous braking action can be attained.
