In this scooter, the steering was newly designed with igus® polymer plain bearings. So far they were operated with steel ball bearings and fitting screws as well as a steering set with stem clamp from the bicycle sector.
Angle joints with steel pins in association with plain bearings now enable a quick mounting with few individual parts. In addition, misalignments in the welded construction are now virtually self-compensated. Moreover, the cost-intensive mounting of the handlebar can be made still cheaper.
