"On a table-like support mounted on a rotatable disk, a stone-thin polished specimen is set, which is turned by the rotating disk and can be relocated through the intermediately mounted cross slide in two directions (horizontal toward right and left and in the base). This requirement was previously met by acuride guides. With our limited number of pieces and special versions, this guide system could be procured only for a high price. Besides there were substantial quality limitations with regard to the large clearance in the ball guide. With the NK-01/02-27 low profile guide system, this problem could be ideally and cost-effectively solved. ”
