"The problem of the radial forces and the otherwise extremely high manufacturing complexity involved in the compensation of parallelism errors of the shafts was solved by the option of DryLin® linear plain bearings, igus® OJUM-01-16 and igus® OJUM-03-16 with floating/fixed bearings. The dirt and dust problem was likewise solved by the DryLin® linear plain bearing. The stick-slip effect was reduced to a minimum and an essentially better overall operating characteristic was achieved."
