Moving gas spring guide
The guide for a moving gas spring lifts a 2-3m long machine guard 200mm high. The guard requires frequent one man access from one end only to allow for a cleaning operation. By fitting an igubal® push-fit bearing into a laser cut bracket, it allows for fast and accurate assembly of the stay arm assembly. The gas spring can 'lean over' in the bush housing allowing the gas spring to push the cover up from one or both ends smoothly and consistently. This, in turn, allows for lower operating pressure in the gas spring, making life easier for the operator. There is no damage to the surface of the gas spring, giving improved life and safety.
