triflex® R (R for "round") is the third generation of multi-
axis igus® e-chains®. The key design characteristics
of triflex® R e-chains® include:
Approximately ±10° twist per chain link
High tensile strength of the ball-and-socket joint
Fibre rod option for partial directional control and reinforcementt
No need for support elements such as steel cables, springs etc
Diverse range of accessories
Optional retraction systems securely guide 3D e-chains® on the robot arm and reliably prevent loop formation
Typical applications:First choice for industrial robots, machine tools, handling equipment, material handling, packaging machinery
