Even cutting
This machine uses a high-power laser to cut different materials. The laser is integrated in the cutting head, which can be pushed onto the Z-axis. For an optimum cut to be achieved, this movement must be made evenly and reliably. The developers achieved this using a drylin® linear guiding system from igus®.
