Traffic cones can be dropped on the road with this ramp without the street workers having to lean out of the vehicle. The cones are delivered over a platform to the ramp that consists of rolls that are stringed together. The street worker shifts a cone over the platform to the ramp from where they slide on the road. Because the ramp is used in dirty and humid environment, the requirements to the roller bearings were especially high. iglidur® W300 plain bearings fulfilled such conditions best. In addition, they distinguish themselves by an extremely high abrasion-resistance.
