This machine automatically sorts eggs into four weight categories. For the sorting mechanism, a lightweight linear guide system was demanded that works reliably and precisely on one hand and is furthermore resistant to daily cleaning with disinfection and cleaning agents. The choice finally felt on a drylin® N system from igus®. This lightweight linear guide system is lubrication-free, dirt and corrosion-resistant and optimal for the use in this machine.
