Permanent pumping
This machine produces wafers. Up to now, the pastry pump has been using conventional bronze bearings which quickly become sticky and have to be replaced. To reduce the downtimes caused by worn bearings, the developers have replaced the bronze bushings by iglidur® plain bearings from igus®. These are not only maintenance-free, they also fulfil the guidelines of the US American Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
