The metal bearings used before had a maximum service life of only three months. Their replacement and the machine downtimes this involved cost hard cash. Since the metal bearings have been replaced by igubal® from igus®, the machine has been running without any unplanned interruptions. Lubricant-free bearings from igus® are predestined for use in the food industry.
