Safe arrival
This wind vane is used in a wind control system on sailing boats. It is set to the wind according to the required course, and then takes over the control of the rudder integrated in the system. igus® plain bearings are used for mounting the vane because they are weatherproof and maintenance-free, in contrast to the conventional metal bearings used.
