This machine can be controlled by tablet, smartphone or PC and automatically mixes cocktails. To prevent spillage during mixing, both smooth and jolt-free running and precise positioning of the glass under the bottle holders is required. In addition, the machine components must be resistant to liquids to a large extent since splashing cannot be completely excluded during cocktail preparation. Following several test runs, the designers decided in favour of the linear guide system drylin® from igus®, since it fulfils the requirements best.
