Production machineThis machine takes over core removal during the production of cast iron moulds. It is exposed to corrosive dust and chemicals. Up to now, steel chains have been used to route the supply lines carefully, although these had to be replaced every year due to the difficult environmental conditions. This replacement work and the costs it incurred are now no longer necessary, thanks to the use of igus® e-chains® made of plastic.
