The designated values for "Fmax" refer to the performance of iglidur® liners made of high-performance plastics and cannot be used as the sole criterion for the calculation of an application. The maximum load capacity of the overall bearing system depends on the mounting position, housing shape, the housing material, the connection including the used screws and requires a separate verification. The combination of shaft and bearing material is decisive for the operation feature of the linear bearing. Besides coefficient of friction and wear, moisture absorption, chemical or temperature resistance can be crucial factors for the right choice of the bearing material.
