In this kart, an overload clutch goes easy on engine and gearbox. During braking in curves, the rear axle blocks briefly. This results to enormous torque peaks of up to 1500 Nm which have to be absorbed by the overload clutch. Plain bearings are required to withstand these loads and transmit the drive torque. The longest service life was achieved with iglidur® G plain bearings despite the high contact pressure.
