This machine allows customised horse saddles to be made. The so-called horseback simulator uses the dimensions measured to simulate the back of the respective horse. This enables the saddler to produce a made-to-measure saddle which is guaranteed to be a perfect fit. The manual adjustment used before leads to inaccuracies. Now, 20 motors move the simulator into the correct position. The original intention was to use red brass bearings. However, the choice was finally made in favour of iglidur® plain bearings on account of the lubricant-freedom and the maintenance-freedom related to that.
