Reliable power source
This turbine, with a power rating of about 50 MW, has been in operation since 1950. The internal control system for water uptake has had to be repaired countless times. But ever since the original brass bearings, which also had to be lubricated regularly, were replaced by iglidur® plain bearings, the turbine has been running reliably and without failure.
