This steam generator is based on the principle of steam engines and steam boilers. It first converts thermal energy into mechanical energy and then into electrical energy. One of its basic components is an igubal® flange pedestal bearing, which provides a precise linear guide even at the machine‘s high speeds and temperatures. Unlike metal bearings, it is not sensitive to corrosion by permanent contact with steam.
