This sailing boat can be steered perfectly thanks to an optimum connection between the tiller and rudder. An iglidur® PRT polymer slewing ring bearing was used for this. Its convincing features not only include its lubricant- and maintenance-freedom. The low weight, low friction and good material resistance to seawater contact in particular were the important factors of choice for this plastic bearing.
