Easy to open
This buffet tray can be opened in a jiffy. The freely rotating pin in the cover hinge makes this possible, but the use of metal bearings proved to be very error-prone. The moist, hot environment would block the pin, and suddenly the cover could no longer be opened. It was the plastic bearings from igus® that made precise handling possible. Now the cover can be moved into the desired position with minimal pressure and without the mechanism ever being blocked.
