Reliable moulding
This moulding machine is used to make hollow cast parts with the aid of the waxmelting process. A sand-resin mixture is sprayed into the bottom dies and hardens there. Previously, this led to significant soiling of the guide shafts which became clogged with the sticky mixture and had to be replaced. In addition, the bronze bearings had to be lubricated permanently, since the high temperatures made the lubricant dry out. Thanks to DryLin® guide rails and lubricant-free iglidur® plain bearings these problems are now a thing of the past.
