This robot has a pelvis thrust like Elvis Presley in his day. The even swaying step in the robot’s hip makes great demands on bearing performance. In addition, conventional bearings were too large to be able to be installed in the robot. They also have to be lubricated regularly. The size and lubricant-freedom of iglidur® G plain bearings makes them just perfect for use in the high-tech dancer.
