B180 is already the most successful range in the xiros® family, reliable and cost-effective. This range is now turning into the low-cost solution for the food technology sector. All dimensions up to Ø 25 mm are now also available in the FDA-compliant version. To do so, it is sufficient to adapt the cage of the polymer ball bearings, as the rings are already made of FDA-compliant material. xirodur® B180 ball bearings with stainless steel balls can now be used wherever unpackaged foodstuffs are processed and the temperatures do not exceed 80 °C.
