Assembly robotThis robot transports gates with a weight of up to 1,7 tons on a rail system. In addition there is its self-weight. The travel is 7 m. The robot picks up the gates with vacuum grippers and transports them bidirectional between different machining points. At the same time the robot and the energy supply system – realized with an igus® e-chain® to save space - get in contact with used materials such as powder lacquer. Robot and energy supply are permanently in operation thanks to the high reliability of the e-chain®.
