Safety doorsThe screen doors of this large milling center are operated electrically. They consist of several segments and the travel is up to 9 m. In addition they are equipped with a positioning control system. Therefore the cables also need to be installed in the safety doors. igus® e-chains® invisibly guide the cables at the inside of the doors. The e-chains® still protect the cables against hot and sharp chips that occur during the machining process.
