Harvesting machineThis harvesting machine processes strawberries from the field through to packaging. First, it picks each individual fruit, using a computer-controlled detection program. Then the strawberries are transported via belts to the packaging trays. The picking arms have to be able to be moved very flexibly to prevent damage to the fruit. In addition, the design provides for only a little space. The compact dimensions of the igus® e-chains® of the Easy Chain® series were just perfect for the job.
