Resistant to chemicals
Material treatmentThis application prepares raw material for the subsequent production of screws and rivets. For this, it is heated and rolled into shape. Since a range of chemical processes is used here, resistance to chemicals is particularly important. The design engineers decided in favour of a gliding parallel e-chain® application with series 2828 instead of a festooning solution. The guide channels were also lined with polymer (in this case polypropylene) due the chemical resistance requirement.
