Two thirds less downtime
Robots in the automotive industryIn this application, a robot in a car factory was equipped with the Triflex® RS universal module. This was a measure taken to combat the high downtimes (average of 22 malfunctions a week) which the previous solution with hoses had been causing: after a while the hoses fell into the robot's working range. The Triflex® RS universal module pulls the lines back after every movement, keeping the working range free. This allowed downtimes to be reduced by two thirds.
