Unusual application
Window assemblyWindows are assembled in the machine. An e-chain® from igus® is not only responsible for the power supply, it also supplies the material. For this purpose, the e-chain® has been fitted with further rollers at the side which transport the rubber seals for the windows into the machine's assembly area. The travel is between one and four metres. This saved on a complex design for supplying the rubber seals and increases process reliability.
