Melting furnaceThis melting furnace is heated to 1650° Celsius for the production of stainless steel. Power and coolant for this are supplied through a round, three-dimensionally movable e-chain® of the igus® Triflex® R series. The melting furnace is stationary, but rotation by 110° about the longitudinal axis is required for pouring the melt. This solution protects the lines from the challenging environmental conditions.
