A quite different application
DigitL Pneumatic HandFor this application, the extremely small and light igus® e-chains® of the Zipper series were used to implement the finger movements of a robot hand. Small cylinders in the chain carry out the movement, bending and stretching the fingers. By using an existing product, the manufacturer did not have to redesign the respective parts. The zip principle of the Zipper e-chains® makes fitting and servicing of the cylinders very easy.
