Protection from filings
Vehicle body milling machineDust and sharp metal filings from this milling machine for vehicle body parts caused damage to lines supplying electricity, compressed air and coolant over and over again. This damage in turn led to machine failure. The use of an energy tube of the type R4.42 from the igus® E4.1 series allowed a significant reduction in downtimes, since the tube is airtight and thus protects the lines reliably from the filings.
