Hole drilling facilityThis facility is used to drill deep holes into the ground. The upper drive of the drill head requires a reliable and weatherproof energy supply. Hydraulic hoses, 400 kw power cables as well as control and data cables need to be guided up to a height of 25 m. Apart from that a static charge of the facility must be avoided. Two e-chains® of the igus® series 600 in the ESD design come into operation.
