Air bearing measuring carriage / vacuum measuring carriage VM 90
The device was developed to easily and quickly perform high-precision measurements of angularity, straightness, parallelism and flatness. Precision-machined angles made of granite, on which a vacuum-pretensioned measuring carriage glides, serve as a reference. With the help of igubal® spherical bearings EGLM-08-R a lever arm is laterally centered by spring force. Due to the freedom from stick-slip, fast and smooth accuracies up to 1μm + 1 x 10-6 L can be realized, depending on the precision of the granite guide surfaces.
